NutCracker Werkzeug-Sets

Just brilliant. I was approaching the job first time with some trepidation, despite a lot of experience working on cars. Honestly? A breeze! Did the rears first, hoping the handbrake and parking lock would cope with the torque needed. Easy peasy (despite the wheel nut seemingly over-torqued on one side). Wheeldo really helped getting the wheel clear of the wheel arch and brakes before dropping it to the ground. Front end, even more trepidation, needed to use TOG. Again, no reason to worry, just select the insert for your seat and insert into the front of the seat slider rail. Select the insert for your brake pedal and push it onto the non-handle end of TOG. Line up the balls and squeeze the handle until everything pops into place and pumps the brakes on fully. Much easier than I though it was going to be. The brake was held firmly enough (without starting engine) to easily undo the front wheels, despite one of them seemingly considerably over-tightened. The wheels weren't trying to steer itself excessively either. I've watched Porsche dealer technicians struggle with this particular job, so was almost dreading it. Decent breaker bar, good 1/2" torque wrench set at 120 Nm, pair of 30mm spanners to set reaction bar offset is all you need. (And the special expensive grease of course). Do not be intimidated, NutCracker's full set makes this a really easy one-man job.

I love that the tool allows me to remove the center nut without using a huge braker bar and second person.
I did find however that the OTG part that fits to the rail does not work. Perhaps the 991.2 rail is different than the 991.1 . I specified that I had the comfort seats.
Also the 3/4-inch drive that goes into the Porsche tool is a very sloppy fit, and tends to fall out of the Porsche tool. Other than that, it seems fine.

Great quality tool kit to have in case of emergency, for general maintenance/cleaning or to assist tyre fitters. Great company to deal with. Gabriel is really helpful. Delivery to UK was quicker than Royal Mail often manage for 1st class domestic mail. Very impressed. No hesitation recommending products to others. Wheeldo fits in case with Nutcracker. TOG has its own bag to keep pedal plates (Ultimate kit purchased). Online video instructions helpful.
