Equipped with a heavy duty 5:1 torque multiplier, NutCracker handles up to 1500 Nm of torque - enough for previously stubbornly over-torqued wheels. Input: 1/2" (regular ratchet/torque wrench), output: 3/4" (Porsche OEM centerlock socket).

Tailored Fit

With an adjustable reaction arm machined from T6 aluminium covered by 4-ply silicone for safe contact with your wheels, NutCracker ensures precise fit to (nearly) any wheel design, eliminating compatibility concerns and ensuring seamless operation. As long as there's at least 5 cm / 2" between wheel spokes, NutCracker will do its magic.

Solo Operation

NutCracker requires only limited braking force, thus saving you a cold engine start and second person's assistance altogether. You will only need a simple reverse clamp from your hardware store to use between the driver's seat and brake pedal to work on front wheels.

Will NutCracker fit my car / wheels?

NutCracker has an adjustable reaction arm, that ensures precise fitment to (nearly) any centerlock wheel design (with at least 5 cm between wheel spokes), eliminating compatibility concerns and ensuring seamless operation. NutCracker is proven to work on all Porsche centerlock models including 992, GT4RS, SpyderRS, 991, 997 and 996.

How accurate is NutCracker?

NutCracker has been repeatedly tested for accuracy using the "Neiko method" described here (with results landing within 3 % accuracy as we demonstrate in our video.

Can I shop with tax excluded?

Was surprised (perhaps I shouldn't have been) by the weight and solidity of the NutCracker. It is very solidly engineered and, when tested, also accurate in its delivery of torque. Happy customer.

Definitely recommend this! It makes changing the wheels sooo much easier!

Ordered the NutCracker so giving my personal experience on it. Didn't get a discount and wasn't asked to post this. First off, ordering was super easy and shipping was surprisingly fast coming from overseas! The storage box is a nice touch for keep safe. Definitely recommend this! It makes changing the wheels sooo much easier! No need for a big huge breaker bar to get them lose and 1/2 drive torque wrench is all that is needed. I often take my wheels off so I can clean them and clean the calipers so this will speed things up. No damage to the wheels and less risk of the big heavy torque wrench falling off or slipping and damaging the vehicle. I followed the instructions and set to the recommended torque of 89ft lbs, and then double check it with Precision Instruments torque wrench, and they both match. If you're on the fence about buying this, don't be!

Centerlocks made easy at a reasonable price

I had a different lower ratio (3.5:1) torque multiplier without a wheel spoke reaction arm before this.

But having the higher ratio (5:1) and a wheel spoke reaction arm both make the process so much easier. The reaction arm is well padded to distribute force on the wheel spoke and avoid damage.

And the price is excellent compared to other similar devices currently on the market. This really makes the loosening/tightening steps on centerlocks super easy.

NutCracker makes CL changing easy.

I swore I would never have a CL equipped car and I lied to myself when I got a 991.2 GT3RS. Before I could order the bulky 1:! CL torque wrench and breaker bar I read about the NutCracker on RennList. I have used Torque Multipliers in my previous life as a farmer on heavy equipment so I decided to give it a try. I did my 1st CL wheel change today. It was easy with no need for holding the steering wheel just a brake depressor and 1/2 torque wrench and done. Highly recommend. Also less than 1 week from order to delivery :)
