Where Power Meets Precision

NutCracker PRO isn't an ordinary impact torque wrench. Besides being inherently inaccurate using any impact tools on the street-legal centerlocks is prohibited as these are made of alluminium, which cannot withstand the impacts. NutCracker PRO is where power meets precision. It delivers up to 1000 Nm (738 ft lbs) in completely smooth and precise manner (±4 % accuracy). At its heart is a brushless electric motor powered by 36V li-ion batteries (you get 2 in the set). The output shaft connects to planetary gear system, which acts as torque multiplier (similar to NutCracker HD in principle). There's a calibrated torque sensor on the output shaft of the gun, which together with digital control system ensures the tightening stops at the preset value (read further on how to operate the PRO).

King of Convenience

Let's face it: Centerlocks look great on the car, but they're rather difficult to live with. With NutCracker PRO working the centerlocks is as easy as it gets (see our video). You only need to set it once to 600 Nm / 445 ftlbs and the target torque value remains set also throughout battery changes. All it takes to complete the full tightening sequence is to move the switch to loosening position pull the trigger and the PRO stops loosening at the defined angle. Then you move the switch to tightening again and couple of seconds later you're done. There's no need to even brake your wheels.

Versatile & Safe to Use

There are many wheel designs out there, but thanks to adjustable reaction arm offset and adjustable loosening angle, which compensates for reaction arm movement while switching from tightening to loosening, NutCracker PRO will work with any wheels with at least 6 cm between wheel spokes (to accommodate the reaction arm).

The reaction arm assembly is attached to the gun using thumbscrew for quick on and off and it comes covered in polyurethane, which ensures gentle touch on the wheel spokes (compared to commonly used Delrin).
